JOB POSTING WITH AUTISM SERVICES: Opening for a LPN LPN Education/Residential Full time: Monday-Friday 7:30am-3:30pm Rate: $14.50/hour Summary of Duties: Under the supervision of and direction from the RN or physician, the LPN assists with the monitoring and coordination of the delivery of health care services for participants with autism in the Education Program and those who are living in community based homes as needed. Responsible for ensuring confidentiality is strictly maintained concerning all agency related information. Qualifications: 1. Current New York State license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse. 2. Valid NYS Driver’s License with acceptable driving history, as determined by the Agency. 3. Ability to meet physical requirements of the position when performing the following: standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, squatting, kneeling and climbing. 4. Lifting requirements of 50 lbs. 5. Ability to lift and transfer individuals manually and mechanically as required by prescribed program/plan. 6. Ability to move, reposition and place participants in pieces of equipment. 7. Physical agility and ability to react to emergency situations including performing of CPR as needed. 8. Physical agility to implement and maintain training in Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention (SCIP-R) certification as per regulatory guidelines Successful applicants must pass a drug test, criminal background, driving record check, and other state required background checks.
