With the business moving to a centralized planning model to support its global manufacturing and supply business there is an immediate need to build strong planning capability here in Singapore. The Mining Systems Scheduler/Production Planner gets into the daily detail of understanding orders and plant performance. You will be responsible for daily manufacturing WorkCentre scheduling for a global manufacturing plant. Using SAP as the key planning tool you will enable integrity of plans and all planning activities. Role Summary • Review each WorkCentre in the plant to ensure the right staffing, resourcing and assets are in place to support the corresponding volumes • Issues management of any unplanned activities such as breakdowns or absenteeism • Optimise daily planning and scheduling to optimize WorkCentre loading and optimal use of resources • Timely and accurate daily production metrics and reporting • Continuous improvement and action to consistently close performance gaps • Ensure alignment of WorkCentre schedule with weekly/monthly production plans and plant resourcing Requirements: • Fluent in written and spoken English as well as spoken Spanish/Portuguese. • Minimum of 4 years of experience in planning/production planning • Production planning, plant scheduling background • Strong SAP based MRPII production planning knowledge • Tertiary qualified, preferably in Supply chain, business or engineering The Person • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Proven ability to work cross functionally and with a globally based organizational structure • Results oriented but with the ability to be flexible in work practices • Detail oriented with strong analytical skills Please see below for a link to apply via our website: careers.futurestep/job/Singapore-Production-Planners-SG-0/2752019/ For any enquiries, please do not hesitate to contact Shria Rambiritch at: Shria.rambiritch@futurestep +6564119549
