Join us on Thursday and learn how to improve your communications skills, develop a personal branding strategy, and effectively use social media in your job search. Have you thought about how using in todays context means something quite different than it used to? (Especially as it relates to the employment process!) Companies are using social media to brand their products, services, and are certainly using it to identify potential employees. As a job seeker, YOU too should be using social media to brand the product you have to offer-YOU! The first steps to building your brand and leveraging social media tools begins with understanding and improving your communication skills. This interactive session will require you to critique your own style of communication, think about branding yourself and your skills while exploring the variety of options of social media tools you can leverage in your job search. Following our general meeting, we’re offering a brief pizza lunch, followed by two optional breakout sessions that will provide additional networking and job search support.
