JOB TITLE: ANALYST DEVELOPER (.NET) DIVISION: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY Purpose of the role An Analyst Developer needs to consult on a high-level regarding technical designs and system architecture with the architects in order to write detailed technical specifications. The analyst is required to analyse existing systems and software in order to design solutions for bugs or new requirements and ensure that technologies are implemented with best practice. The Analyst will be responsible to provide guidance and direction of .Net development to developers and programmers. Ensure reuse and build of common components, web services, objects and patterns and development quality by reviewing development done on technical specifications provided. Requirements • Grade 12 • Relevant IT qualification with at least 4 years relevant design and development experience • Must have proven knowledge of and experience in: o C# or VB.Net o ASP.Net / Java script / HTML / CSS o Web Services o .Net Framework o SQL o XML o IIS o OO Development Methodologies o An understanding of SOA. • Experience in the following would be advantageous: o MVC or MVVM Design pattern o T-SQL / Microsoft SQL Server o WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) & XAML o WCF (Windows Communication Foundation) o PowerShell o UML • Continuous development mind-set • Communication skills in English (verbal and written) • Analytical and problem solving skills • Attention to technical detail • Sense of ownership • Demonstrate initiative and proactive attitude and the ability to multi-task • Perform well under pressure • Adaptable • Team player • A firm grasp of patterns and practices • Clear criminal and credit record Area Contact Stellenbosch Campus (Ref # 1019) Western Cape Jana Kruger T 021 809 2291 E [email protected]
