JOB TITLE: Administration and Finance Manager LOCATION: Conservation Society of Pohnpei OPENING DATE: October 23, 2014 CLOSING DATE: December 11, 2014 STARTING SALARY: $15,472.41 Essential Functions: Administration and Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of CSP office including overall direction for all activities related to finance, administration, personal, facilities, information systems, office management and/or safety for the Conservation Society of Pohnpei (CSP). The Manager is the point of contact for the development and implementation of annual budgets and manages the processes for annual budget planning, submission of periodic and annual financial reports to Executive Director and Board of Directors. S/He provides assistance to all levels of personnel on various Human Resources-related issues and guidance to subordinates in satisfying administrative requirements. Full duties can be obtained at CSP with full Terms of Reference (TOR) strictly aligned with CSP policies. REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS: Bachelors degree and/or 3 years related experience or equivalent combination. Strong management and leadership in all aspects of operations and fiscal management. Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office and other financial related management software. Ability to communicate in Pohnpeian (high preferred) English including report writing. Ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines effectively. Committed to CSPs mission - environmental/natural resource conservation. Willingness to work at odd hours and receptive to learning new skills, and attend training on and off island. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree and 3 years related experience or equivalent combination. Experience overseeing multiple central administrative processes, such as facility management, telecommunications, general maintenance/repairs, central filing, telephone/public reception, printing, maintaining office supplies, and/or general purchasing request, or equivalent. Demonstrated experience using MS office, Word, Excel. Experience using advanced computer functions including navigating the Internet. Experience manipulating, analyzing and/or interpreting financial or other data. Supervisory experience including ability to motivate, lead, set objectives, and manage performance, including conflict resolution. Experience developing and administering organizational budget or equivalent. Demonstrated flexibility to changing situations and priorities.
