JOB TITLE / POSITION: LOGISTICS PACKAGING OPERATOR Reports to : Logistics Warehouse Supervisor Department : Production Key Result Areas (KRAs) - Job Purpose The Packaging Operator is a key role in the Safe and efficient operation of packaging units and compliance to safety and environmental standards. Detailed Tasks / Activities: Man and operate packaging equipment which includes bagging line, bulk loading system and broken bag system as per Standard Operating Procedures. Uphold safety in over-all packaging operation maintaining safety compliance as per Tenets of Operation, company standards, policies and procedures, SOP and EOP. Be a leader in QSAFE observation. Maintain high quality products upholding customer satisfaction as per Q-Chem’s Quality Management System. Report to the Warehouse Shift Supervisor/Shift Foreman. Perform machine troubleshooting which includes mechanical adjustments and simple mechanical repairs. Provide support to maintenance during machine repairs and troubleshooting by supplying accurate information onfailure history and hands on support to maintenance personnel. To help train newly hired Packaging Operator. Isolates and prepares equipment safely for maintenance including LT&T Section B: Qualifications: High School / Trade Diploma Section C: Experience: A. Experience: 3-5 Years relevant experience. Preferred Industry: Petrochemical Industry B.
