JOB TITLE: Synthetic Training War-Game Direction Lead Support PROJECT OVERVIEW: As a member of WBB’s team you will directly support Navy Fleet training. US Fleet Forces (USFF) is responsible for directing Fleet Deployment Training for US Navy units world-wide. In support of USFF, WBB requires highly skilled personnel who will support all technical and non-technical elements of live training, modeling and simulation, and synthetic training, as well as constructive training, exercise development and execution for numerous programs on a world-wide basis. JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Support Tasks: (a) Oversee all phases of exercise planning and scenario development for FST events and other shore-based synthetic training events such as TFCC trainers, warfare commanders course (WCC) and academic courses that include synthetic war games. (b) Provide principal support and coordination with lead exercise planners and directors from joint and coalition partner training organizations during planning and execution of synthetic training events. (c) Direct all JECG functions during synthetic training execution ensuring that all training objectives are achieved, including MSEL execution, higher headquarters and response cell operations, OPFOR actions and coordination with M&S functions. (d) Maintain expert knowledge of rules of engagement (ROE), including standing ROE, mission-specific ROE, and theater-specific ROE, as well as current expertise in Navy-wide, NFC, and SG OPORD, operation general matters, and operation tasks (OPTASK). (e) Serve as principal advisor to TTGL executive staff (commanding officer, executive officer, director of training, senior staff and FST director) during FST events, providing recommendations for current, realistic representation of higher headquarters actions and requirements. (f) Coordinate with the active duty assessment lead during FST execution to make dynamic adjustments to exercise scenario events as required to achieve training objectives. REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Four (4) years experience with the following: • Subject matter expert for synthetic war ganing. • Experienced training mananger. • Experience developing training curriculums. • Experience conducting fleet/ joint training assessments to identify gaps, training needs and solutions. • Experience delivering training in person and/or online. • Experience developing and modifying training event/exercise scenarios. • Experience managing training projects. • Experience as Team and/or project leaders. • Experience designing custom training to meet training objectives. • Experienced public speaker and presentation skills. • Experience engaging Senior Staff at the Flag Officer/Director/Manager level. • Experience handling multiple priorities and interruptions with minimal impact on productivity/deliverables.
