JOB VACANCIY A leading industrial company specializing in heavy industrial projects is seeking qualified Candidates to fill Senior Design Electrical Engineer position: Main Responsibilities: - Lead the electrical design team responsible for bidding for new projects and the detailed design for running projects. - Lead bid efforts, evaluating electrical scopes in tenders and leading the design, selection and pricing efforts from A to Z ending with ready-to-submit technical-commercial offers; this includes MV panels, transformers, LV panels (MDBs, MCCs, ATS, PFC, ...etc), lighting, earthing, lightning protection, in addition to cable route design and cable estimation. - Leading detailed design efforts on running projects, for the whole electrical scope, including submittals, shop drawings, procurement BOQs, as-builts and O&M manuals. - Manage the electrical design team’s day-to-day work, evaluate performance and work with the management to dictate targets and plans for performance improvement. - Work with the quality management team to ensure that all design work and documentation are in compliance with specifications, codes, customer requirements and internal quality standards. - Visit the factory and/or site when needed to inspect and/or discuss design related issues with the production manager or project/site manager. Job Requirements: - Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university. - 5-10 years of relevant experience in the related field. - Good command of English and Arabic language. - Experience in AutoCAD is a must; Eplan/Elecdes experience is a plus.
