POSITION: “Assistant Manager Delegate Sales” JOB SUMMARY: Manage a sales team of Delegate Sales Executives contacting key clients’ decision makers with a goal of selling Delegate passes that are specific to the client’s business development requirements and strategic goals and proactively selling on own accounts as well RESPONSIBILITIES: - Generate delegate sales revenue in line with agreed targets & objectives - Work with sales manager to ensure agreed KPIs are met on a consistent basis - Ensures that goals and targets are met - Identifies telesales and delegate sales potential market growth opportunity - Responsible for delegate profiling for each event selling (Identifies job titles relevant to each event selling) - Helps to build rapport with existing and build new clientele database - Works closely with Producers, Marketing and Sponsorship team working on the same events to ensure targets are met - Ensures that KPI’s set forth are met by the team on a consistent basis - Have advanced closing skills and the ability to bring executed contracts in for the company - post-event evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports) SKILLS: - Candidates should have experience in conference sales, business to business sales, media sales, ad sales, intangible sales, consultative selling, publishing, trade show sales, interactive media sales and or event sales preferred. - Strong phone based presentation skills - Able to design attractive sponsorship packages - Confident contract negotiator able to work with senior level executives - Have the personality of a leader, use strategic vision as a road map to achieve goals - Minimum of 2 years of Sales Management or Delegate Sales experience preferably in the conference industry - Ability to work independently and be self-driven - Excel at managing multiple tasks at one time and perform in a high energy, fast paced environment. - Excellent writing, editing, and typing skills 2. POSITION: “Sales Executive” JOB SUMMARY: To support the Project Manager and Assistant Project Manager to project manage designated Exhibitions, to agreed specifications including the co-ordination of other internal company on external resources in order to present a single point of control to the client/visitor RESPONSIBILITIES: - Maximize profitability of each Exhibition by : - Leveraging supplier opportunities - Maximizing Sq m Sales - Increasing visitors attendance - Controlling Costs - Increasing efficiencies - To manage Exhibition files ensuring that internal DICEC processes are fully adhered to and on pre-agreed timelines - To liaise with clients, internal Company resources and suppliers as directed, professionally, efficiently and on time. - To manage event Exhibitions mailings, sourcing the collateral and coordinating the fulfillment - Utilize EBMS as required - To assist the International Project Manager in the implementation an overall sales and marketing plan for designated exhibitions including intensive telesales activities - To continually update International Project Manager through progress reports on the status of each task. - To contribute towards the development of exhibitor and visitor database relevant to assigned exhibitions - Attend supplier presentations to enhance product knowledge. - Attend Company training courses, as appropriate, to either learn new or enhance existing skills - Assist colleagues in their job functions in order to meet client deadlines - Understand Company’s full service offering - Follow & implement the Company Policies & Procedures - Continually seek opportunities to develop self and if applicable subordinates. - Implement duties in line with the Quality standards, Security and Health & Safety requirements. - Implement any other duties as assigned by the Department Head. - As duties change, it will be reflected in the job description after discussions are held with the post holder in the yearly performance evaluations. - Work in line with the exhibition department’s strategy whilst following policies and guidelines. Make decisions within these boundaries. SKILLS: - Min of 2 years’ experience.
