JOB VACANCY – MELKSHAM - EXPERIENCED ACCOUNTS CLERK We are a 9 year old family run high volume E-commerce company that specialises in magnets and magnetic products. Are you an experienced Sage Line 50 Accounts Clerk looking for an excellent part-time opportunity? The main duties will include downloading sales from a variety of e-selling platforms and all aspects of sales ledger (specifically working with products), credit control, purchase ledger (specifically working with products), bank reconciliation, foreign currency transactions, stock control functions and HMRC returns. Other duties will include updating the stock quantities on our own website, answering the telephone, telephone order processing, some customer service functions and ad hoc admin as required. We are a high volume company, deadlines are tight and you will be required to work quickly and with the minimum of supervision. The ideal applicant will have: • An extensive working knowledge and experience of Sage Accounts Line 50 including creating and processing product sales invoices, product returns and product purchasing is essential. • A strong background working in an accounts department covering a range of finance functions. • Good time management, organisation and analytical skills • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office in conjunction with excellent communication skills • Maths and English GCSE or equivalent is essential. This is a part time fixed term contract for 6 months. The hours will be 3.5-4 hours per day Monday-Friday (17.5-20 hours per week), starting time to be agreed. There is potential for this job to become full time and permanent.
