Must have excellent news judgment, strong broadcast writing skills, a sense of urgency, a strong work ethic, and be able to deliver content comfortably and effectively for live broadcasts. Degree in Journalism or Communications or equivalent work experience required. Experience with Avid iNews, Grass Valley Edius, and Sony XDCAM cameras a plus. KMEG/KPTH-TV, Sioux City, IA MULTIMEDIA JOURNALIST: Must be able to turn a story quickly and make deadline, be able to uncover news and not rely on the assignment desk, have live shot experience, and shoot and edit. Knowledge of non-linear editing (Premiere/Final Cut) a big plus. Fill-in anchor duties possible. Must understand libel laws and be willing to get involved in the community.
