JOBS in GOLDEN LAND People Operations Associate Your Mission In the course of ten years, we’ve built a strong team of over 440 people ranging from sales demos in villages in 80% of rural Myanmar, to highly skilled employees with extensive experience working, studying, and living abroad. We’re lucky to count on such a talented team of individuals whose values align with our mission of wide scale poverty alleviation. And yet, as we’re looking to grow and expand our operations, we’ll need to hire and retain excellent people, starting with you. About Our Team Our People Operations team sets the tone for a lot of what we do at Proximity. Not only are they in charge of recruiting, hiring, and retaining excellent people, they put together yearly events that help our employees improve their skills and build stronger bonds across teams and locations. Some of these events include: our annual meeting in Yangon, our company retreat (held in Chaung Tha Beach for the past 4 years), and Proximity School, a unique event during which all of our employees have access to relevant skills building workshops. As an associate you will have the ability to shape the policies that nurture our family-style work atmosphere, as well as reinforce the flat structure of our organization. What you will do Work closely with team managers on staffing requirements Assist with recruitment and hiring new staff Maintain employee database by entering new resume, purging old files and searching for qualified candidates to fill employment openings Ensure that accurate employee records are kept on file Lead staff orientation and staff development through trainings Organize and manage organization’s events and meetings Distribute Human Resources Management policies and train staff on policies and procedures Travel to our field offices in Upper and Lower Myanmar as and when required Provide support for a wide variety of People Operations functions. Is this you? University degree holder Experience in HR preferred: recruitment, training and development Ability to work well in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment Ability to maintain confidentiality on HR matters Excellent computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Typing Oral and written English skills Click the following link for detailed information>>> bit.ly/1pKzKDk
