JOES JOURNEY: The results from Joes PET scan revealed that his entire left lung is covered with cancer (they thought it was scar tissue). It was also on part of his lower right lung. This is a slow growing cancer and hes most likely had it for a while. They are going to do further testing that will allow them to choose the most appropriate chemo. It will most likely be a chemo pill. The doctor was hopeful that the chemo could shrink the cancer and improve his lung function. We will find out more at our appointment next Tuesday.
