JOHN 1:45 & 46 VERSE 45 “PHILIP FOUND NATHANAEL AND SAID TO HIM, “WE HAVE FOUND HIM OF WHOM MOSES IN THE LAW, AND ALSO THE PROPHETS, WROTE – JESUS OF NAZARETH, THE SON OF JOSEPH.” VERSE 46 AND NATHANAEL SAID TO HIM, “CAN ANYTHING GOOD COME OUT OF NAZARETH? PHILIP SAID TO HIM, “COME AND SEE.” I have come to know the Odawna area as a busy place for cars and motor bikes business. Talk about repairers with skills to solve problems, they are there. I have been a beneficiary of their skills usage. Last Saturday I witnessed a fleet of wedding cars moving into the heart of Odawna. For a moment I was startled. A wedding in Odawna? I forgot that there are houses in the area. Also there is a church as I have been told. Yeah reality was at work and differed from facts on the ground. God had favoured and blessed the couple there. Let them enjoy their marriage as lovers. God is no respecter of people and locations in His dealings. Like Nazareth with no major historical record of God’s visitation, yet Jesus was located there for a divine purpose in fulfillment of scripture. Nathanael lacked understanding that when the people change, it reflects in the vicinity. The most important thing is that we live righteous in God’s sight as Christians and be both recipients of God’s blessings and instruments of His power and glory. You are the chosen person to show forth good works in your community. Somebody will find you just as Philip found Jesus and introduced Him to Nathanael. Let your light shine. COME AND SEE!
