JOHN EALES RUGBY EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIP - BOND UNIVERSITY - open to U-26 year old males Bond University has partnered with former Wallabies Captain, Mr John Eales AM, to develop The John Eales Rugby Excellence Scholarship. The scholarship will grant two young men who excel in rugby, possess leadership qualities and are of high academic standing, the opportunity to be personally mentored by the most successful Wallabies captain in the history of Australian rugby. The scholarship package includes 100 per cent tuition fees for any single undergraduate degree, single postgraduate degree or diploma program (excluding Bachelor of Medicine Bachelor of Surgery) and a stipend for living expenses. Recipients will receive one-on-one mentoring sessions with John Eales who will provide his insights into the game of rugby, life as a high performance athlete, and career guidance. The scholarship is open to males under 26 years with experience at playing rugby at a representative level; with a high quality school or academic record; and who possess leadership qualities. It is open to Australian and international candidates.
