JOHN Worsfold will attend West Coasts club champion dinner next - TopicsExpress

JOHN Worsfold will attend West Coasts club champion dinner next month and says he remains passionate about the club he served for 24 years. The 2006 premiership coach, who quit the Eagles last month after 12 years in charge, will run next Sundays New York marathon but says he has no firm plans for 2014. I am really just getting clearer in my own head about what the new years going to hold for me and where my passion really lies outside of football; what other things I can love doing and impact well on, Worsfold told Sunday Times columnist and 1992 premiership teammate Karl Langdon this week. Ill definitely go along to the club champs - my last one as senior coach. Worsfold tipped key position pair Eric Mackenzie and Josh Kennedy as the players to beat. (Chris) Masten had a very good year. (Matt) Priddis was again really solid so I think those guys are going to be right up there, he said. He described the prospect of watching West Coast as a spectator next year as a bit of an unknown for me. Ill certainly try and get to a lot of the games because Im obviously going to be a passionate West Coast supporter.
