JOIN US AT PRIDE THIS SATURDAY AND REMEMBER MICHAEL This Saturday is Liverpool Pride – and six years to the day that Michael Causer died after being brutally attacked. Michael would have loved to be taking part in Pride. He was proud to be gay. Hed have been so excited he wouldnt have been able to sleep, says his mum, Marie. Michaels family, the Michael Causer Foundation and the people of Liverpool will remember Michael on Saturday. We would really like you to join us too. Throughout the day, there will be two opportunities to pay tribute to this popular, special young man. Please join us: • For speeches before the Pride march leaves St Georges Plateau, outside St Georges Hall in the city centre. Please muster from 11am. • At the main waterfront stage at 5.45pm, when Michael will be remembered and a minute’s silence will be held in his memory. A special film will also be screened. (Please note that this is a ticketed area.) We remember Michael every second of every day, says Marie, but because Pride falls on his anniversary this year, it makes it so much more special.
