JONESBOROUGH GEO-CONSERVATION VOLUNTEERS Dozens turned out in Jonesborough / Baile An Chláir today to help clear an area behind the Pastoral Centre. Just the start of an enormous task to return this lost oasis of paths, picnic areas and pond to the local residents. The Community Association was joined by the local Scout group and volunteers from Dromintee, Killeen, Crossmaglen and even Dublin to tackle this wilderness. A wood chipper, skip and mini-digger are needed for the next phase, so contact me if any are available. Keep an eye on social media for the next Volunteer day in Jonesborough.
