JOSE IN THE COURSE TO DESTROY CHELSEAS FUTURE Well my friends, - TopicsExpress

JOSE IN THE COURSE TO DESTROY CHELSEAS FUTURE Well my friends, this is just my opinion! When Jose Mourinho joined Chelsea in the summer 2013 he was clear that one player he did not admire was Juan Mata. At that time Roman Abramovich was reluctant in selling the player of the season, but Mourinho over the course of six months convinced the Russian that Chelsea can win without the Spainish midfield maestro leading to the news that Chelsea are prepared to sell fans favorite for £40 million to rivals Manchester United who had rejected them outright any move for Wayne Rooney. The Portugeuse manager has obviously shown in the past that he is no Arsene Wenger or the great Sir Alex Ferguson who have achieved successes by investing and developing the youth. It started last summer when Chelsea were in need for a striker Mourinho decided to bring in a 32-year-old striker, Samuel Etoo, while letting youngster Romelu Lukaku out on loan to Everton. Over the first half of the season, Ryan Bertrand, Chelseas future replacement for Ashley Cole, was never given the opportunity to develope his talent as he did under previous two managers because he did not fit in Mourinhos philosophy of developed talent. Instead he decided to give opportunity to Cesar Azpilicueta who had developed into a Spain international under Rafael Benitez. Meanwhile, Mourinho had a hard time developing a 22 year-old Kevin De Bruyne so he decided the easy way out was to let him go in January and replace him with a 26-year-old developed former Chelsea player, Nemanja Matic, making Chelsea pay £16 million more for a player they let go 3 years back. Today, Mourinho is letting Chelseas star player Juan Mata join rivals Manchester United so that he can either bring in a 29 year-old Wayne Rooney who is past his peak days, or pay £65 million for another 29 year old, Radamel Falcao. To add more frustration to Stamford Bridge true fans. he is letting Petr Cech replacement Thibaut Courtois join Atletico Madrid on a £20 million permanent deal. With FFP looming over Stamford Bridge like grey clouds what happend to Chelseas philosophy in investing and developing young talent to turn them into future stars? At the end of Drogba era Chelsea had invested millions of pounds in building a young team around Fernando Torres and Juan Mata, but Mourinho is only looking for his personal short-term success to make his CV look good. It is now to see who will replace Juan Mata and Thibaut Courtois at Chelsea because no top players are available for cheap in the market. Seems like Jose Mourinho is turning Chelsea into their North London rivals Arsenal who have a philosophy of buying young talent and selling them after couple of seasons for a profit. There is no doubt Manchester United fans will make a mock out of Chelsea fans when they next meet probably in Champions League this season or next season in the league for letting Mata join them while they kept their hands on Wayne Rooney. Now whose running the show?.
