JOURNAL OF THE MAGI: ENTRY V Today we were attacked by robbers. They came so suddenly on their steeds. There was no time to grab the bows and arrows to repel them. We had to fight hand to hand with our swords. It was bloody. But we prevailed and drove them off. The other Magi are fine, I am the only one wounded badly. I hope the gash in my thigh heals properly. Thank goodness the robbers blade did not cut a major vein in my leg. Strange, but tonight in my pain, I have a wonderful feeling that this is the night the Savior was born to overcome hate and sin.
