JOURNEY OF FAITH TOUR – OCT 2014: Alhamdulillah, by the infinite Mercy of Allah I arrived back in Islamabad yesterday after a jam-packed tour of Karachi. I must say that the hospitality of the brothers there always inspires me, including the teams from Youth Talk, Mission Dawah Karachi and Tarbiyyah. In particular, I would like to give a big shout-out and a massive jazakum’Allahu khayrn to my host brother Taha Pasha and his family for letting me stay at their residence and looking after me so well masha’Allah! To brother Mudassir who sponsored my travel (as always!) – may Allah grant you the best means of travel in Jannah! :) To brothers Abu Bakr, Haroon and Adeel for their crazy jokes, their love and their warm personalities. To brother Ahmed Hamas, the whiz kid, for managing the IBA event with his team so efficiently masha’Allah and being a super manager. To the witty brother Ali Ahmed, who I was formally introduced to for the first time in this tour, for managing the SinLess event with such dedicated commitment; a true leader in-sha’Allah! To brother Abdul Hafeez for his passion for dawah, for being my last-minute driver and for his cheerful personality. I was amazed when he told me that he “reverted” towards the deen after my “Spiritual Cardiologist” workshop in Karachi, the last time I visited! May Allah grant him istiqaamah. To the new face of dawah, brother Asad for his excellent planning and execution of all street dawah training programs and activity. To brothers Kashif, Idris, Arif and Nouman for their loving support, guidance and advice. And finally, to the legendary brother Ishaq, the one-man army, for being an all-round superstar, a turbo-charged event coordinator and my reason for revisiting Karachi! I love you ALL for the sake of Allah.
