JP Carr Collection Finds Home at Fort Langley B&B Mike and Marilyn Masterton Support the John Carr Collection and BC Burn Fund There were happy faces at the LAC in-house gallery today as Mike Masterton made his first purchase of the John Carr Collection. Supporting the BC Firefighters and their extraordinary vision of a Burn Fund Centre, Mike purchased several pieces of the collection to further design their local B&B with unique, historic and Canadian art. On hand for the occasion was Erik Vogel, Burn Camp and BCPFF Director and Peter Tutemello of the Township of Langley Cultural Services Manager. Peter has worked tirelessly and voluntarily to inventory and authenticate the almost 1200 piece collection. Eric is working with the LAC in preparation of a gala event where the collection will be presented for generous donations to go to the BC Firefighters Burn Fund and a small percentage to the LAC for our efforts in promoting the Collection. The collection will be featured in the upstairs gallery in November 2013.
