JRF/SRF/RA @ Goa University Applications are invited from the eligible candidates on plain paper for One post of JRF or SRF or RA as the case may be to work on the research project entitled “Large Scale Screening for High Garcinol and Hydroxycitric acid, In Vitro Culture and Molecular Characterization of Garcinia species from the Western Ghats of India”. The project is funded by the Council of Scientific and Industrial research (CSIR), New Delhi, for a period of three years to carry out research at the Department of Botany, Goa University, Goa. Eligibility: JRF: M.Sc., Botany, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or equivalent degree with 55% marks with CSIR and UGC NET/GATE qualified. SRF: M.Sc., Botany, Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences or equivalent degree with 55% marks & one publication in SCI Journal and should have completed two years of post M.Sc., research experience. RA: Ph.D. in any of the above discipline or equivalent degree & one publication in SCI Journal. The upper Age limit: JRF (28 years), SRF (32 years), RA (35 years) and relaxable upto 5 years for the candidate belonging to SC/ST, women, physically handicapped and OBC candidates. Salary (Monthly emoluments): Position 1st & 2nd Year, 3rd Year JRF (NET qualified) Rs. 16,000 + HRA Rs. 18,000 + HRA JRF (GATE qualified) Rs. 12,000 + HRA Rs. 14,000 + HRA SRF Rs. 18,000 + HRA Rs. 18,000 + HRA RA Rs. 22,000 + HRA Rs. 22,000 HRA Last date of receiving application: 30 July 2013.
