JS Bachs Concerto in C minor for violin and oboe BWV 1060, played by the Academy of Ancient Music with Richard Egarr (director & harpsichord), Frank de Bruine (oboe) and Pavlo Beznosiuk (violin). The piece was written by Bach to entertain the crowds visiting Leipzig for the Christmas trade-fairs; and in December 2010 it features in the AAMs festive concert at Cadogan Hall, London, as part of The Bach Dynasty - a year-long concert series exploring the music of the incomparable JS Bach and his extraordinary family.
