JUNE SPOTLIGHT ARTIST: Lena Leitzke Melting Snow Lena Leitzke is a Ukrainian citizen, born in Russia, and has been in the United States since 2000. In 2001 she joined the art community at Parklane Gallery. Her works reflect her strong passion: I love Art and Art loves me back. Lena began as an emerging artist and now is established in her accomplishments and talents. Within her journey as an artist, she strives to master different styles and techniques--from large scale to miniatures, abstracts to realism, portraits to landscapes, and from flowers to romantic couples, ballerinas, and dancers. Self-taught, she finds discovering art secrets and techniques incredibly exciting and enjoys sharing her art with others through her gallery presentations and within a multitude of exhibits, resulting in numerous awards. Her popularity is rewarded as well through sales of her art across the country.
