Sheen’qu’tuna’ - Our Wretchedness (hatefulness, wickedness, etc) overcame / overwhelmed us, and We were Za’leen’ - Erred (astray, misled, lost) people; - Our LORD ! Bring us out of this (hell fire, punishment), If ever we return (to crimes, sins), Then indeed we shall be Zali’mun’ – Wrongdoers (hardened criminals, sinners); - HE will say, ‘Remain you in it with Ignominy (contempt, dishonor, shame, etc), and Speak you not to ME; - ..You (criminal, sinners) took them (believers) for Sa’kharun’ – A Laughing Stock, So much, so that (ridicule) they made you forget MY Message (Holy Qur’an) – While you were laughing at them”.
