JUST A FEW SCRIPTURES ABOUT HEALINGS AND PRAYER IN Acts 3:1-7 WE HAVE AN INSTANCE WHERE PETER AND JOHN PRAYED OVER A MAN WHO WAS LAME. In this case, there was the ANOINTING OIL STRAIGHT FROM THE HOLY GHOST. AMEN ? ~ 1. Now Peter and John went up together into the temple at the hour of prayer, being the ninth hour. 2. And a certain man lame from his mothers womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple; 3. Who seeing Peter and John about to go into the temple asked an alms. 4. And Peter, fastening his eyes upon him with John, said, Look on us. 5. And he gave heed unto them, expecting to receive something of them. 6. Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. 7. And he took him by the right hand, and lifted him up: and immediately his feet and ancle bones received strength. 1 John 2:20 - But ye have an unction (anointing) from the Holy One, and ye know all things. GOD IS NOT LIMITED Acts 19:11-12 11. And God wrought special miracles by the hands of Paul: 12. So that from his body were brought unto the sick handkerchiefs or aprons, and the diseases departed from them, and the evil spirits went out of them. PRAYER FROM A DISTANCE AND THEY PRAYED AND THE ANGEL OF GOD OPENED THE PRISON DOOR FOR PETER Acts 12:6-7 and verse 12. 6. And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison. 7. And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he smote Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands. 8. And the angel said unto him, Gird thyself, and bind on thy sandals. And so he did. And he saith unto him, Cast thy garment about thee, and follow me. ACTS 12:12 SHOWS HOW THEY WERE PRAYING FOR THE RELEASE OF PETER: And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; -->where many were gathered together praying. PRAISING AND SINGING HYMNS TO GOD BRINGS POWER OF RELEASE Acts 16:25-26 25. But about midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns of praise to God, and the prisoners were listening to them; 26. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every ones bands were loosed.
