JUST A THOUGHT..... REBASE... This word making its way into our national vocabulary (cant wait for our comedians to lay their hands on it ) MEANING: establish a new base level for (a tax level, price index, etc.) - web dic. Maybe our government can rebase POVERTY. Like set a national guideline UNDER WHICH NO NIGERIAN SHOULD HAVE TO LIVE...without financial assistance from the state. We have enough resources to provide a SAFETY NET to the poorest members of our society...IF WE STOP THE STEALING by public officers and civil servants, and MANAGE OUR RESOURCES WELL. Just saying!
