JUST ANOTHER TYPICAL LATE SEPTEMBER SUNDAY AFTERNOON SOUTH OF DUNOON dunooncommunityradio.org It may be that the Coast Road (A815) South of Dunoon after Innellan and Toward suddenly comes to an abrupt end that it may not be the first place you may think off for a Sunday run-out. This Sunday there was enough happening along that stretch of road to make it really worthwhile with seven local South of Dunoon artist opening there studios as part of Cowal Open Studios and in the Innellan Village Hall an informal information afternoon with teas coffees and homebaking to bring folk up to date with the latest news from the South Cowal Community Development Company (SCCDC). It was expected to have a good turnout especially after the recent announcement heard exclusively here first on DCR97.4FM that the SCCDC had been award the maximum £750,000 award from the Scottish Land Fund to assist with the purchase the Grade B-listed Baronial Mansion House currently owned by Argyll and Bute Council.
