JUST FOR THE RECORD... I lost a friend (someone who used the term lightly) the other day because I had posted a joke cartoon some time ago regarding President Obama. She accused me of being racist and deleted me as a friend. I have never been racist and I have always thought it ridiculous for anyone to hate, or even dislike someone because of the color of their skin. My Brother and I even had to physically fight white friends in our own neighborhood once because a black guy who went to school with my Brother came to visit him. But, that’s a story for another time. As most people know, my wife is from Thailand and 100% Thai. As I have lived the past 39 years for her, I would also die for her. Any person’s skin color is such because God made them that way. That is one of those few things in life we don’t get to choose for ourselves, and, to me, means nothing when it comes to choosing someone as a wife, husband or a friend. I am against President Obama, not because he happens to be 50% black or 50% white, but because he claims himself to be a Christian and has gone out of his way to take a stand against certain things in the Bible that God plainly states is against His teachings. I believe in the Bible as being God’s word and instructions for us in living our lives here on earth. A man with so much power and influence as the President of our United States should never use it for evil. He does what he does to get votes and is playing a huge part in destroying the foundation of marriage in America. I am quite sure that he knows exactly what he is doing because he is an intelligent person and has ‘heard’ the TRUTH time and time again, even if he has not read it for himself. Before I lead millions of people down the wrong path, I would make certain of what I was doing, wouldn’t you? This is the biggest thing I have against him and could not support him in these matters, even if he was green... I love all people and accept them as they are, on an individual basis, and not because they are of any particular color. I see no supremacy in any color and believe we are all here for the same purpose… to live our lives according to God’s instruction until He calls us home one day to be with Him… Which way we choose is a matter of choice…
