JUST IN - PEDESTRIAN ACCIDENT: According to the Waynesboro Fire Department one person was taken to the hospital this afternoon after they were struck by a passing vehicle. It happened around 2:30 p.m. along East Main St. & North Church St. Fire officials say a male was hit along a crosswalk. We do not know his age at this time. He was taken to Waynesboro Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The striking vehicle did not flee the scene and cooperated with law enforcement. The scene has since been cleared.
