JUST IN: SPEAKER OF THE RIVERS STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY IMPEACHED --- LAW MAKERS EXCHANGE BLOWS; SHOW OF SHAME SENDS 2 LAW MAKERS TO HOSPITAL Fierce fight broke out at plenary today at the Rivers State House of Assembly as Speaker Otelemaba Dan Amachree was impeached. Amachree, was impeached by 5 lawmakers loyal to the felix obua led PDP as Evans Bipi Representing Abua odual constituency was purportedly appointed as the new speaker by 5 members. Two members of the House, Martins Amaehule and Micheal Chinda who were injured during the fracas are in hospital. Meanwhile, the new Speaker of the house, Evans Bipi, has announced the suspension of 15 members of the house.
