JUST LAUGHING ....at a post elsewhere. Am sure we all have school day stories and to be honest I hated my school days, hard to believe but I was a victim of 2nd and 3rd grade bullying and I absolutely hated our swimming teacher who was cruel and heartless...hence I cannot swim! But my most acute memory is that of when I was 13Yrs old and Dear Mr Edwards our Drama teacher. The Class were instructed to enact a scene whereby we were in a kitchen cooking for an important Royal event and suddenly our cakes were burning. The idea was that we should mimic in silence what we did on discovery and rectification....Haaaaaaa!!!! On hearing my name called, I ambled up to the invisible oven, Mr Edwards shouted hurry Maria the cakes ARE burning....my reply was "well if their already burnt Sir, no point in rushing is there!" I did receive detention for insolence and in my school report he declared "I fear Drama Class is a little beneath Maria and as such I predict a career far removed from being in the Public eye!" IS THAT SO...MR EDWARDS LOLLLL!!!
