JUST NOW: Im at a Hilton Hotel and I head to the lobby for a beverage. As I walked towards the counter I notice a middle aged white woman, drunk as hell, screaming at a man from hotel security. I stopped in my tracks and watched with fascination, completely entertained. The woman never stopped talking / yelling. She slurred almost every word. The gentleman from security NEVER SAID ONE WORD - he stood there, polite, patient and seeming to be willing to take her abuse.... Woman (very drunk and slurring): Ill have you know Im really into civil rights. I cant just stand by and watch a white cop shoot an innocent African American person who is just standing there minding his own business. I stand up and say something. You are taking away my civil rights. You chose to make this an issue. Why do you think you can get away with taking away my civil rights? I wont stand for it. I was just drinking beer, watching CNN as Eric Holder was announcing his resignation. Thats all I wanted do, watch CNN and Eric Holder as I drink beer. I was planning on having several more beers and then eventually go to my room, but you had to ruin my night by telling me I was not able to drink anymore. You have made me feel unwelcome at your bar. You have taken my civil rights from me. Im a civil rights lawyer and I know when my civil rights have been violated. Just like the innocent African American shot by the white cop, you have taken my civil rights...... I was jaw dropped, riveted, entertained, intrigued, and so much more. Even drunk, I still cant believe she would compare getting cut off at the bar due to being drunk as equivalent to being shot due to racism. HOLY CRAP - what a D-BAG! What a narcissistic, self absorbed, self important A-HOLE!!!
