JUST POSTED THIS,,, Sajjad, you have your views and others have their views. India has one of the biggest source of resources. and there are few things I point out to you. After the second world war, India was in better position that most countries in Europe and China. Presently we are far behind all the West European countries. Its true that India was a young democracy, but if you are talking of past 10 years of UPA governance, I am happy to say that I have read more news of SCAMs rather than Terrorist attacks. Rather it was first time in many years that people ignored the news of Terror attacks and read about scams and that is perhaps one positive. The 10 years of UPA rule made majority of Indians forget about 200 years of slavery and yes that is the achievement. Further, our PM the noted economist, when he talks of secularism instead of what he is supposed to be good at then there is certainly a lot wrong. It would be like Cristinao Ronaldo is not able to score in 20 matches and he talks about Cricket !! Presently among all the leaders from various party, all they talk is secularism. Did you not notice what 10 years of pseudo secularism has brought India to? Ruins.. Only Modi is someone who talks of development. The majority of Indians and across all religions talk about development. In my view when there is progress and development, there is always secularism because then no one really cares talking about religion or secularim. Secularim is a quality within a person, it is not a way of life. Secularims is not about religious tolerance, but about respect for everyone. When people talk about religion they do talk of divide. To summarise it, India is facing a lot of troubles including rising cost of living incuding fruits and vegetables and unfortunately we are the country which prides itself in agriculture, so why is it that food is cheaper in countries that imports rather than in country that produces... is it difficult to understand that A LOT IS GOING WRONG IN THE COUNTRY? And the worst part is our leader opts to keep quiet, a very nice time to keep quiet. I am sure there are many who might still want Manmohan singh to be the PM because he himself has done nothing wrong. But then when there is corruption is it not the Head of the government who should take the responsibility? You know cricket, when few players drop catches and India loses, does Dhoni or any other captain say oh because this this and that player dropped the catches, we lost? or is the answer like We did not field well? It is a team effort both in Government and in Criclet. And yes as per me MANMOHAN SINGH IS THE MOST CORRUPT PM because though he may have not been corrupt himself he did actively or passively let the corruption and scams go on and did nothing to stop them, rather he did help the scams to grow and that my friend is his achievement !! period. The cost of onions and potatos are high for everyone, onions and potatos do not have religion. Thus for most indians including me it is about wanting to have a leader who has a plan for Development and progress, surely there are some stupid fools who will be voting for pseudo secularim but surely its their choice, and people have their right to make choices, right or wrong and that only time will tell. You might like or not like the future PM of India (whoever it may be) then surely you have the freedom to be a responsible citizen like you are now. Or does a Leader who you do not like make you want to be a irresponsible citizen? A good Leader is a man with a vision, and presently Indians are in search for a leader with a vision. At least I do not see the Congress party or the third front or even AAP having any vision. They are just in self appreciation mode without any policies. AAP had a chance to show what they can do in Delhi and the result is for everyone to see. Being a democracy means expressing and being responsible and that is true democracy, and when India learns it, we might be a true democracy. Guess there is all I can say, and yes, I do know that joke, but unfortulately that joke was about a husband who dies and it was his wifes clock that is being used as a fan.
