JUST SAYIN This young band Siren lives in a different world than most of those who will see this on my wall live in. Los Angeles chews up bands and spits them out for the fun of it. Most, if not all today, desirable places to play not only demand you sell tickets to play but require you buy the tickets up front. Called pay to play in my day. But regardless of how it works today, if you dont put people in the club you dont go back. Los Angeles is about the toughest market there is to get work at any level of attention. The mere fact this young band is working is very impressive.
