JUST THINKING OUT LOUD: For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater: So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:9-11 Father, You speak only good words to us because Your pleasure and purpose is for our good and the building of Your kingdom. Oh, that we would believe the words that You send to us and do them; then our lives would be full and satisfying. If we would believe what You say about us, then we would disregard man’s words and we would become what You designed for us to be come. Then we would use our words to bless and not curse. Because You said words are powerful, we would send out words that will produce the fruit we desire and not use words carelessly. Help us to always be mindful of following Jesus’ example to always do good and do no harm. Put a watch over our mouths so that we would speak truth and love, yet speak with authority when necessary. Let the words of our mouths and the meditations of our hearts be acceptable to You. Let us remember that out of the abundance of our hearts our mouths speak. Examine our hearts, Lord. Root out all that displeases You, then we will be able to speak peacefully. We bless Your holy Name! Amen Be bless speaking words of love, peace and faith!
