JUST TO LET EVERYONE KNOW that we started the Fight Club when I met Matt Schaeffer around 12 years ago at one of our first fights and Ryan was training a Jeff Smith and Troy Holton and myself were training the Boxing-Kick Boxing. Another event was when Ty Holton was a tad pole and won his fight that night in Lead Hill, Clarence Stevens won his, Ryan Jones won his, Nicky Todarov lost his, Brian Stevens won his as how I remember it. Ryan was 17 or maybe 16 so that would be 9 years ago. We had many fights and the Lead Hill fight night was where we me George Steele and I named him THE ANIMAL. This fight club started with C.L. Bergeron when we were on Hwy 7 South and even before my time with C.L. as he even had his own Ring set up. We had fights at the Burlsworth center and Shana was 15 and she is now 29. Ray Davis, Ralph Hinkle, Shana Gallagher fought that night. C.L., Troy and myself were the trainers. We won most of our events and some times we would have 7 or 8 of the fighters at each event. Bryan Stevens won in Mt Home and was the fight of the night. Bryan was a shrimp. AS OF MONDAY THIS WEEK; Ryan Jones has stepped up to the plate as the OWNER-COACH OF NORTHWEST ARKANSAS FIGHT CLUB AND WILL BE THE DECISION MAKER AND Rob Young, Matt Schaeffer, Josh Crouch are the Coaches. Monday night there were 14 in training. ROB IS THE MANAGER OF EVENTS TO COME AND WILL BE THE GO TO PERSON. He still says that he is just helping out so he is a very humble person. These 4 people will cooperate with each other to make it successful.
