Jack DeVroomen, here some driving-photos of my Dartmoor-gelding. Dressage and marathon during the Dutch National Championships, cones during another competition. Currently were driving with a tandem, but training is for our ponys the same as normal. We start ground-training at 3 years old, and very soon we take them out driving. We live in the south of the Netherlands, with very steep hills and rough terrain. Without exception they are very soon used to the terrain and build up an exceptional condition. They are trained minimal 4 times a week, during a 2 hours trip trough the hills.
