Jack McConnell “Where You Are” - So many songs have been written about broken hearts but passion truly rings through on this track. With a symphonic opening this track takes flight like a gentle dove on a mission of love. The mix on this song is done rather well with all elements represented. This song would do well in a romantic film. Jack’s singing registers well and sings from the heart. The balance of guitars, bass and guitar do well to keep this song flowing and moving the story along. At the about the 2:30 mark the song picks up middle and guitar solo. Tasteful shredding and sustained notes help this song peak just in the right spot. If you like pop rock ballads I would highly recommend this track no matter “Where You Are”.
