Jack and Jill Family - we wanted to share the following : The Coca-Cola Pay It Forward program uncaps a world of possibilities for today’s young people by offering once-in-a-lifetime apprenticeship experiences. This year, they have enlisted comedian, author, philanthropist and media mogul Steve Harvey as their celebrity history maker. Steve, along with his team at the Steve and Marjorie Harvey Foundation, will offer apprenticeship experiences to two young people interested in learning about the philanthropic and entertainment industries. This year, each youth will receive a $5,000 scholarship to help them further realize their academic and professional aspirations. To be a part of this amazing opportunity, young people between the ages of 16 – 21 must be nominated by a parent, relative, teacher, mentor, friend, member of the community or they can self-nominate by visiting coke/payitforward. Nominations can be submitted January 6 through March 15.
