Jackie and I have recently made a big decision in our lives. The kind of decision one usually reserves for that moment theyre lying in a dark alley as the sun is coming up, having just realized they are wearing yoga pants and a fez. In downtown Butte. With their head comfortably nuzzled in an old hobos lap. And the last thing remembered was heading to the store for mushrooms to top the steaks just put on the BBQ. Back home in Missoula. Well, none of that prompted our decision as far as I remember. Ive elected the leave the security of my current full time job at ATG and strike out on my own. Kind and wonderful company that ATG is, theyve offered me a safety net; first by telling me theyll welcome me back if my prospects dry up; and second, by offering to continue our relationship as a client of mine. I have formed Jay Allen Consulting, LLC, (catchy, eh?), and will be providing clients with the following services: - Data Analysis - Process Optimization - Web Site/Social Media Site Analysis & Optimization - Marketing Analysis - Net Promoter Score (NPS) Program Launch & Optimization - Customer Scoring & Analysis - Marketing Campaign Creation, Analysis, P&L, and Reporting - Company, Board of Director, & Sales Presentations - KPIs and Dashboarding - Group & Individual Training in PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, social marketing writing & campaign creation and management Im not sure Ive listed all of the services Ill offer, but much of my time will be spent working with my good friends and former Vanns employees Tim Christensen, John Giles Yoder, and Dwain Bethel. Woo-hoo! I will also spend some of my time back with my ATG family, hanging with some of the best young people youd ever want to meet. I am very excited to begin this chapter in my life and, though it scares both Jackie and I bit, Im certain well be asking ourselves at some point why we didnt do this sooner.
