For five years - as was his want - Thabo Mbeki denied there was a looming crisis and stalled the development of new power stations until 2007 - When - As last - construction work started on Madupi. Madupi was due to start delivering electricity to the national grid by 2012.... We all know what happened in 2008. The government (another National catastrophe ) via Mbeki apologized to the nation for the power outs. At the end of that same year (2008) Kulise Power Station construction began. Madupi was supposed to have started delivery to the National Electricity grid in 2012........ Strikes, contractual problems, has slowed the delivery down to (maybe) January 2015. Kusile was due to start delivery after fast tracking this year.....!?. Eskom warned The Another National Crisis government slept.... But now it was the Apartheid Government.... Come on Zuma - Grow the kahoonas to admit its the Another National Crisiss fault. The trouble is that the devout of the Young Communist League seemed to have swallowed this dumb-ass story hook, line and sinker. As no doubt the intellectually impaired majority of the ruling party will. By the way - Zuma said this last - not me - over the Nkandla fiasco..... Remember?
