Jacqui Morgan passed away suddenly last week and her friends and students, myself included in both categories, are still in shock. I will miss her greatly. She was one of the most consistent winners on Barebrush. I met her October 2006 when she had a show at Spring Studio. I walked into the room and instantly knew her work, even though I had only seen it in her illustration book I bought in the 90s. She was a very giving, very special lady.
