Upset by the words of sage, the King started to seek some sort of solution for his miseries. The great sage enlightened the King and guided him to fast on Pavitra Ekadashi. Both the King and his wife observed the fast with complete devotion. The pious fast of the Pavitra Ekadashi made the King free of all his previous sins and the curse too. After the successful completion of fast, the King and Queen became parents in some time.
