Jake Ballard is an approximately 2 year old terrier mix that weighs around 14 pounds. Roles were reversed and he needed rescuing in Alabama - Scandalous! Jake is awesome. He may start out cautiously in new places, but is so cute and fun when he warms up. He can walk standing up and is a huge lovebug. Hed never leave your lap if he had his way, so we think he will do well with someone who mixes it up to let him know that a little distance is also okay. Hes energetic but takes direction really well, thanks to his people pleasing nature. We can totally see him as a circus ringleader! Jakes foster mom says that hes smart as a whip and will pretty much stick to the vibe you want him to. If you want to play, he will PLAY, if you want him to sit down and relax, hes up for that as well. Jakes happy to hang out and play with other smaller pups and seems to like kiddos. (Tested with ages 7+). Hes an absolute champion of the subway and loves tooting around the city. Jake is housebroken, cratetrained, neutered, UTD on vaccinations, and microchipped.
