Jake Fisher Thieves raid life saving charity Local charity Leicestershire Search and Rescue were disheartened to discover that their supply base in Woodville, Derbyshire had been broken into by thoughtless thieves on Friday morning (14 June). Their base is where they stored all of their equipment, all of which had been donated by local businesses and residents. They had a wide range of items stolen, including computers, medical and rescue equipment, even office supplies. John Howells unit commander said "We are disgusted, that people could stoop so low as the steal from a charity. It has taken us well over 18 months to amass what was stolen, our volunteer team worked so hard to gather the life-saving kit, now we are back to square one!" They are asking you for your help, if you have any information that may assist them, either about the theft or of what ahs become of what was stolen - please get in touch with Jonny Howells
