Jake Gavio and Tim Grey went rounds at WCF in their Infinity-tuned All Motor Civics last weekend and both racers ran personal bests! Jake qualified #4 with a 9.75 @ 140 MPH and Tim broke into the nines at the #13 spot with a 9.96 @ 137 MPH. Jakes best pass came in the first round with a 9.71 @ 140 MPH, and was consistent all day until a busted half shaft in the semis ended his run. Tim bettered his 9.96 in the first round with a 9.89 @ 137 MPH, took out the #1 qualifier in the 2nd round with a 9.93 but bowed in the 3rd round against Tommy Godfrey by .02. Way to fight guys and we look forward to what 2015 has in store!
