Jake has been away with his dad this week....and Ive got a HUGE surprise for him when he gets home tomorrow! Our home is old and in several stages of remodel (kitchen was done last winter). Jake has always had hand-me-down furniture of which none matched. Combine that with a house that is in a constant state of remodel and it left me feeling like a bad Mommy. No more! A new bedroom suit with a bed he can grow into. A desk he can sit and do his homework. Enough drawers for all his clothes. And shelves for books and toys! And the coolest thing: the bed has a little fort/hiding place to hang out underneath!
