Jamaica----no problem..? Seems as if we are now believing this phrase ourselves , as our complacency is more pronounced daily .Unfortunately , nothing matters to our people , we are in that zone where no one cares , no one is concerned about governance or government incompetence as long his party is in power or have some prospect of being in power due to the failure of the governing party ! This bureaucracy with its deleterious effect on the ability to do business is ruining the Countrys progress ! Every Prime Minster must appoint his entire winning party ( even back-benchers ) to his Cabinet , seemingly ,,,,,No wonder the British Parliamentary System (Westminster ) does not work here ....creating a huge unnecessary government of non-achievers getting paid for doing nothing ....and we say so what ? They learned , that we dont give a damn as long as were not personally affected , so they do as they feel and if someone complains , their minions will silence him /her ! Now with the Countrys precarious financial /fiscal position , this cannot be allowed to continue ! Jamaica ....we have problems , must now be the rallying call , and these must be fixed without delay not just Tax Reform , Government Reform ---the size of our Parliamentary Representation in relation to the size of the population, Cabinet size...so that everyone and his cousin do not get the prospect of being a Cabinet member , Local Government Reform , if not eliminated, Ministerial advisors ( at Tax-payers expense ) you already have Permanent Secretaries and Parliamentary Secretaries ..!
